Sustainable development goals in early childhood
Within the Global School Programme, children are introduced to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at an early age. The program integrates the 17 goals into the annual plan, implementing one goal each week with age-appropriate content.
This approach enables children to develop environmental awareness, social responsibility, and sustainable behaviors. Students learn through projects, activities, and observation-based experiences related to the goals; they adopt a sense of responsibility in an age-appropriate manner, using their curiosity and problem-solving skills.
Applied to all age groups, this program supports children not only in acquiring knowledge but also in developing into environmentally conscious, socially contributing, and aware individuals.
