Lighting Workshop
Lighting Workshop
In the Reggio Emilia approach, light is one of the ways children express their thoughts, observe, and rediscover the world. At New School, the Light Workshop is a special discovery space that allows children to learn by experimenting with light, color, and shadow. In this workshop, children work with projectors, reflective surfaces, natural materials, and color filters to observe different reflections of light.
Each experience allows children to discover cause-and-effect relationships, improve their visual perception, and strengthen their abstract thinking skills. The Light Workshop is not just an activity space; it is a learning environment where children concretize their imaginations, gain aesthetic sensitivity, and freely use artistic means of expression. At New School, light becomes the language of learning; children think with light, express themselves with light, and grow with light.
